SFScope Associate Editor Kit Hawkins has started a new business, KitBakes.com, drawing on her experience creating brownies, cookies, and delicious delectables. Now she’s expanding her offerings with a new division, to be called “Dark Desserts”, but she needs a logo. So she’s running a “Design Our Logo” contest.
The logo must give the essence of Dark Desserts, which will be using the tag lines “Sugar with an Attitude,” and “It’s not just sweetness and light.” In other words, she’ll be baking sweets for the naughty in each of us, sweets for the dark side.
The logo needs to be scalable, to look good on the web site, on a package label, and on an apron (bonus points if it also looks good in black and white). Entries will become the property of KitBakes.com, and the winner will receive credit and a link on the web site, and suitable credit on the products. The winner will also receive a sampler of KitBakes.com baked goodies (Kit reserves the right to not choose any of the submitted logos).
Deadline to enter your logo, and have your name linked with Dark Desserts, is Halloween (31 October 2009). Send your entries (as a pdf, Photoshop, jpg, or gif file) to kitbakes at yahoo dot com. Questions should go to that same address.
