Tor.com giveaway and lunar memories

Tor.com, the publisher’s independent group blog, is celebrating the fortieth anniversary of humanity’s first steps on the Moon (which coincides with the blog’s own first anniversary) by offering interesting posts and gifts and prizes. Specifically, they’ve got one or more posts each hour from big-name authors (and artists, critics, and fans) about what they were doing forty years ago today. And, every hour on the hour for the day, they’re posting an item or a prize package, free for the giving. To enter any (or all) of the giveaways, all they’re requiring is a comment on the post. Comments will be accepted until 12N EDT tomorrow, 21 July. Go forth and comment (except on the one I’m interested in). Warning, though: the site seems kind of slow today.
Writers whose memories are already posted include: Ben Bova, David Brin, Jeffrey A. Carver, C.J. Cherryh, Joe Haldeman, Harry Harrison, Geoffrey A. Landis, L.E. Modesitt Jr., Larry Niven, Rudy Rucker, Robert J. Sawyer, Robert Silverberg, Charles Stross, Michael Swanwick, Jo Walton, and David Weber. More to come throughout the day (or check in at midnight to see them all).
