James A. Hetley sold “Dragon’s Bones”, a novella, to SRM Publisher, Ltd. The story is scheduled to be published as a stand-alone volume in October 2009, and is “set in the town of Stonefort, Maine, and continues the lives and adventures of characters familiar to readers the novels Dragon’s Eye and Dragon’s Teeth“, which were published by Ace in 2006.

I don’t understand. I loved reading his book The Summer Country, and I’ve been reading his books ever since. But his last book came out in 2006. Since then I’ve been waiting for another of his books to come out. I’ve been scanning bookstores’ shelves for his next release. Now I find out that he’s had a book out for two months, but it’s not out! He just sold it to some online company I’ve never heard of! I could pay someplace I’ve never heard of full price plus shipping for the book. I doubt I’m his only fan who dislikes that idea. I don’t doubt that he has many fans who don’t even know he has a new book out!
