The Moon Society is now publishing a free, web-based fiction magazine entitled Moonbeams. The third issue, dated Spring 2009, and edited by Charles “Chuck” Lesher, is now available (along with the previous two) as a pdf downloadable from this page.

Moonbeams “specializes in realistic (no fantasy, no wish-it-were-so physics) near space frontier tales.” The Moon Society is “a non-profit educational and scientific foundation formed to further scientific study and development of the moon.” SFScope Editor Ian Randal Strock was one of the founder of the Moon Society, and currently serves on the organization’s Board of Advisors.
