Bilmes makes foreign sales for Brett, Castro, Green, Hemry/Campbell, Hines, Moore, Richardson, and Sanderson

Joshua Bilmes of the JABberwocky Literary Agency is reporting a slew of foreign rights sales.
Peter V. Brett‘s The Warded Man (which was published in the UK as The Painted Man) sold to Matahati in Indonesia. Gaea in Taiwan took that book, as well as The Desert Spear and the third novel in the Demon Cycle.
Adam-Troy Castro sold German rights to Andrea Cort novels Emissaries from the Dead and The Third Claw of God to Bastei/Luebbe for a high five-figure advance.
Simon R. Green sold German rights to Just Another Judgment Day to Feder & Schwert, and Czech rights to the same book to Polaris.
John G. Hemry, writing as Jack Campbell, sold Chinese rights to the first two “Lost Fleet” novels—Dauntless and Fearless—to SFW.
Jim C. Hines sold German rights to The Stepsister Scheme to Bastei/Luebbe. Fantom Print took Czech rights to his Goblin War. Israel’s Drop of Light Press bought Hebrew rights to Goblin Quest.
Piper extended its license for John Moore‘s Slay and Rescue.
Kat Richardson sold Russian rights to the second and third “Greywalker” novels—Poltergeist and Underground—to AST.
Brandon Sanderson sold Polish rights to The Well of Ascension, and The Hero of Ages (books 2 and 3 of the Mistborn trilogy), as well as stand-alone fantasy Warbreaker, all to Mag. Warbreaker also sold to Talpress in the Czech Republic. Italian rights to The Final Empire (the first Mistborn novel) went to Fanucci. And Mango took French rights to Alcatraz vs. The Evil Librarians
