PS publishing The Very Best of Gene Wolfe as chosen by the author

If George R.R. Martin and Gardner Dozois’ tribute volume Songs of the Dying Earth isn’t enough Gene Wolfe for you, PS Publishing is now taking pre-orders for the limited edition The Very Best of Gene Wolfe. The £50 ($75) hardcover edition, signed by Wolfe, is limited to 300 copies. The £100 ($150) slipcased hardcover edition, signed by Wolfe and introduction author Kim Stanley Robinson, is limited to 100 copies. The wrap-around cover art is by J.K. Potter.
PS hasn’t released the complete table of contents, but they do say that the book will be “a massive career retrospective featuring thirty-two stories chosen by the master as his finest.” Some of the stores in the book will be: “The Fifth Head of Cerberus”, “The Island of Doctor Death and Other Stories”, “The Hero as Werewolf”, “Seven American Nights”, “The Detective of Dreams”, “La Befana”, “The Eyeflash Miracles”, “The God and His Man”, “And When They Appear”, “Bed and Breakfast”, “Petting Zoo”, and “The Tree is My Hat”.
“Unique to this PS limited edition is the powerful Yuletide novelette, ‘Christmas Inn’, which PS published as their first Winter Chapbook.”
The book is due in April. Pre-orders received before then will receive free shipping.
