Further to this article from last week, in which we announced that Juno Books has become an imprint of Pocket Books, Juno’s Editor Paula Guran has announced their Pocket line-up through the end of the year:
Amazon Ink by Lori Devoti (first of a series): June 2009
Vicious Circle by Linda Robertson (first of a series): July 2009
Demon Inside by Stacia Kane (second of a series): August 2009
Matters of the Blood by Maria Lima (reprint, first of a series): September 2009
Blood Bargain by Maria Lima (reprint, second of a series): October 2009
Blood Kin by Maria Lima (third of a series): November 2009
Vampire Sunrise by Carole Nelson Douglas (third of a series): December 2009
Hallowed Circle by Linda Robertson (second in a series): January 2010
Guran also writes that Riversend by Sylvia Kelso “should be availale [directly from Juno] any day. It will be available in trade paperback right away and hardcover soon to follow. Its publication was delayed due to several acts of God, including a freak flood in Sean Wallace’s apartment. As the last of the Wildside/Juno books, there will be no mass market version.”
Additionally, Juno is once again open to submissions. The updated submission guidelines, available on this page, emphasize the fact that their novels “must have a strong female protagonist,” and also that Juno is a fantasy imprint. See that page also for the submission address. Guran writes “Pocket does not accept unagented/unsolicited manuscripts, but Juno still does. If, however, I am inundated with submissions that are outside the realm of what we are looking for, then that will probably have to stop.”
