The SciFi Channel has started posting video to whet the appetite of Battlestar Galactica fans. The fourth, and final, season is scheduled to debut 16 January 2009. Currently, they’ve posted a 13-minute “Catch the Frak Up!” recap of everything that has come before. And now, they’re offering a serialized video story on the web, entitled The Face of the Enemy, to further raise the level of interest. The videos are available on SciFi.com, and also on Hulu.com. Currently, on Hulu, they have the catch-up video, the first episode, which clocks in at 4 minutes 11 seconds, and the second (3:42). According to publicist Courtney White, following this week’s first three webisodes (releasing Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday), they’ll be posting two per week up until the television premiere.
White provides this synopsis of the webisode: “The Face of the Enemy follows the gripping action and suspense inside a stranded Raptor carrying a group of passengers including Lieutenant Felix Gaeta (Alessandro Juliani) and a Number 8 Cylon (Grace Park). When passengers suddenly start dying one by one in alarming ways, fear, panic and chaos erupt within the confines of the small ship, as they come to realize there is a killer among them. Michael Hogan (Colonel Tigh) and Brad Dryborough (Lieutenant Hoshi) also star. The Face of the Enemy is written by Jane Espenson and Seamus Kevin Fahey and is produced by Universal Cable Productions.”
