The October 2008 issue of editor Leigh Dragoon’s Byzarium is now available. The webzine, “dedicated to fantasy, sci-fi and horror fiction,” requests a subscription to view some of the content, though other stories are available freely.
This issue includes:
“Before the Flood” by Daniel Braum (cross-genre)
“Horse” by Elizabeth Hopkinson (fantasy)
“I Do Not Think They Will Sing for Me” by Louise Norlie (horror)
“The End of Flying” by Georgina Bruce (flash fiction)
In addition, she notes the publication of “Floodwaters” by Kiriko Moth, which is the inspiration or theme for the current flash fiction contest. Deadline is 16 November 2008, and the image (and rules) are on this page.
