Editor Cecilia Tan announces that Circlet Press‘s open submission period will start on 15 September (and run through 31 October). Specific themes she’s looking for this time around include erotic werewolves, erotic sf/f for gay men, fantasy folklore, and the future of gender (for the anthology Up for Grabs). She is only looking for stories between 1,500 and 15,000 words (no novels or novel queries), with a preference for the 4,000-7,000 range. Circlet publishes erotic sf, and all stories must have both erotic content and science fiction or fantasy.
The Fall ebook anthologies she is reading for include: Like an Animal (erotic tales of werewolves); Like a Myth (erotic tales based on non-western folklore or myth); Wired Hard 4.0 (hard-edged erotic stories of men on men), and the aforementioned Up for Grabs.
