Sinking Ship Productions’ stage performance of There Will Come Soft Rains (which we covered in this article), has extended its run in New York City. Now showing at The Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street, New York, New York 10014), new shows will be:
Thursday 4 September at 7PM
Saturday 6 September at 2PM and 7PM
Sunday 7 September at 2PM
Wednesday 10 September at 8PM
Directed by Jon Levin, the performance “takes three stories and turns them into wonderfully theatrical fare.” The three are: “How the World was Saved” by Stanislaw Lem; “On the Nature of Time” by Bill Pronzini and Barry N. Malzberg; and “There Will Come Soft Rains” by Ray Bradbury. Tickets for all performances are $18, available from www.fringenyc-encoreseries.com. For more information, the play’s web site is www.softrains-theplay.com.
this is probably the best fringe show I’ve ever seen in the four years I’ve been watching fringe shows. It’s just visually amazing to see what these actors are doing.
