Updating this article, co-editors Jay Lake and Eric T. Reynolds have issued submission guidelines for their original science fiction anthology, Footprints, to be published by Hadley Rille Books. The theme of the anthology is “Long after our species and all its works have turned to dust, the moon landing sites will still show evidence of our time here on Earth. Imagine future explorers from among the stars interpreting that. The astronauts’ footprints should last longer than the fossils in the Olduvai Gorge have.”
From 15 August to 15 November, they’ll be reading stories of 4,000-10,000 words. They’ll pay $40 per story they accept. Full submission guidelines are on this page.
