Destinies to cover Star Wars, the blues, and more

Producer and host Dr. Howard Margolin writes with the upcoming schedule for Destinies—The Voice of Science Fiction, which airs Fridays at 11:30PM on 90.1 FM, WUSB, Stony Brook, New York. On 15 August, they’ll salute the release of Star Wars: The Clone Wars by presenting a 2008 press conference with Ray Park, who played Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, the Toad in X-Men, and who stars as Snake-Eyes in the upcoming G.I. Joe feature film.
On 22 August, Destinies will join in WUSB’s Blues Marathon with its 10th annual Science Fiction Blues Special, featuring music by Captain Zorikh, the Boogie Knights, Tim Russ, Jim Byrnes, Dick Hyman, and more.
29 August will have the Destinies Soundtrack Spotlight shining on Kevin Kiner’s score for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, featuring a live telephone interview with the composer, who will introduce selections from the album.
On 5 September, the show will be a live telephone interview with author Patrick Thomas, who will discuss and read from his Murphy’s Lore anthology Empty Graves.
On 12 September, it will be another live telephone interview, this time with author David J. Williams, who will discuss and read from his novel The Mirrored Heavens.
