Following up this article, Bertelsmann Direct Group announced that Najafi Companies has completed the closing of its acquisition of the North American unit collectively known as Direct Group North America. Effective immediately, the company’s new corporate name is Direct Brands. Individual consumer brand names such as Book-of-the-Month Club, Columbia House, BMG, and the Science Fiction Book Club, will remain unaffected.
