Top Box Office Grossers: Fourth Week of March

Variety reports the top movies, in terms of box office take, for the week of 21-27 March 2008. Horton Hears a Who kept the top spot in its second week in release, taking in $38.4 million, for a two-week total of $99.8 million. New release Shutter opened at #4, grossing $13.8 million. 10,000 B.C. dropped from #2 to #5, garnering $12.6 million, for a three-week total of $80.0 million.
Doomsday dropped out of the top ten, from #7 to #11, earning $3.3 million for a two-week total of $10.0 million. The Spiderwrick Chronicles dropped from #9 to #14, taking in $2.1 million, for a six-week box office take of $68.6 million. Jumper is down from #11 to #17, grossing $1.4 million for a six-week total box office take of $78.0 million.
