The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction is running a contest, the prize for which is a DVD copy of the recent film The Martian Child (which we reviewed in this article). Deadline for the contest is 9 March. Since the story upon which the movie was based, David Gerrold’s “The Martian Child”, originally appeared in F&SF, entrants in this contest must “Pick a story from F&SF that you think would make a great movie. (The story should be one that hasn’t already been adapted to film before. So no remakes!). Choose the director and/or screenwriter for the job. Cast the film.
