New Thunderbirds novels coming soon

Author Joan Marie Verba, who is the publisher of FTL Publications, has acquired a license to create and publish original novels based on the 1960s “Supermarionation” tv series Thunderbirds, from England’s Granada Ventures.
In the 32 original episodes (which ran in 1965 and 1966), “the Tracy brothers, named after five of the astronauts in the Mercury space program, their father, Jeff, and assorted agents, respond to a distress signal picked up by their organization, International Rescue, and use their fleet of five ultra-high-tech Thunderbird air/space craft to rescue someone who is hopelessly trapped and in terrible danger—often involving collapsing or burning structures (buildings, towers, or bridges), criminal plots, or environmental disasters.”
Verba is writing the first book herself, and expects to publish it this summer.
