Mayhar and Lansdale to be honored at Nebula Awards

The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA) has announced the Author Emeritus and Toastmaster for their upcoming Nebulal Awards event.
Ardath Mayhar is the Author Emeritus. She began writing in 1945, and the books listed on her web site date from the 1965 poetry collection Journey To an Ending to 2005 (when she published six novels of science fiction, fantasy, and horror). She is the author of 61 novels.
Joe R. Lansdale will be the Toastmaster. His earliest works appeared in 1980, and last yaer, the World Horror Convention named him Grandmaster.
The Nebula Awards weekend will be 25-27 April in Austin, Texas, and keeping with that setting, both of these authors are Texans. For more information on Mayhar and Lansdale, see this page.
