Jonathan Strahan is now reading for Eclipse Two, the second volume in his original anthology series that is being published by Night Shade Books. It’s an unthemed anthology, Strahan says, “instead, writers are encouraged to take any and all of the colors of the genre palette—be they steampunk, cyberpunk, new space opera, old space opera, fairy tale, ghost story, hard SF, or whatever—and use them as they will to create something unique and wonderful.” He’s especially looking for strong science fiction stories.
All stories should be 2,500-10,000 words long, “with a preference for stories around 7,500 words.” He’s accepting stories between 1 and 29 February, and expects to read and respond to all of them during March. For more information, see this page.
