Jay Lake sold two books to Beth Meacham at Tor, via agent Jennifer Jackson of the Donald Maass Literary Agency. Green is scheduled to be published in April 2009, while the other, as-yet-unnamed book, should be out in 2010.
Jackson describes the first book as “about the girl known only as Green, sold as a child and trained to become a courtesan-assassin, she becomes a catalyst for change in the foreign land she learns to call home.”
