DGA Awards recognize one genre production

The Directors Guild of America handed out their 60th annual awards on 26 January. The only genre winner was Barry Sonnenfeld, who won the award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Comedy Series for Pushing Daisies‘ “Pie-lette”.

Jack Bender for Lost‘s “Through the Looking Glass” (Dramatic Series Night)
Craig Borders for Who Wants to Be a Superhero‘s “Episode 208” (Reality Programs)
Eric Laneuville for Lost‘s “The Brig” (Dramatic Series Night)
Fred Savage for Wizards of Waverly Place‘s “The Crazy 10 Minute Sale” (Children’s Programs)
