BSFA also took nominations for the best non-fiction of 2007, but “although a number of works were nominated there was no consensus and so no shortlist could be formed. A non-fiction award will therefore not be presented this year.”
Attending members of the con and members of the BSFA are eligible to vote for the awards. Paper ballot forms will be sent out to them soon, and copy will be available on the BSFA’s web site. Advance ballots must be returned by Tuesday 18 March to be counted, but votes will also be accepted at the convention as usual.
