If you were reading along as we announced the winners of the World Fantasy Awards a few weeks back, you were told that toastmaster Guy Gavriel Kay’s presentation was wonderful and worth sharing. Now we’re pleased to note that it’s fully available to one and all. As noted there, it lacks the laugh track and ad libs, but it does have “an addendum with the names of the nominees and their works” as used in the story, and is complete, with Gary Wolfe’s at-the-time real-time review of the piece. It may lose something, sitting along reading it to yourself without the glass-dinging and sharing the experience with others, but Kay’s words are still worth reading.
