Self-published book sold to William Morrow for $2 million

Brunonia Barry originally self-published her debut supernatural thriller The Lace Reader under the Flap Jacket Press imprint. The book tells the story of a woman who can see the future by reading patterns in lace. She returns home to investigate the death of her great aunt. Agent Rebecca Oliver at Endeavor sold world English rights to the book to Laurie Chittenden at William Morrow for a reported $2 million.
