George R.R. Martin’s massive new collection of his shorter works, Dreamsongs is now available from Bantam Spectra. The print edition is the first of two volumes (volume two will published at the end of November).
Random House Audio is also releasing the collection as three audio books. Volume I of the audio version is also now available, on CD. The second and third will be released at the end of November, but Audible.com has exclusive downloadable versions of the latter two audio books available now. Audible says “the audio edition contains extensive commentary by Martin himself, which makes it an extra treat for fans.”
All three Audible volumes have list prices of $31.50 (the print books both have $27.00 cover prices, and are available from Amazon for $17.82 each). Volume I runs 14 hours 53 minutes; Volume II is 17 hours 15 minutes; and Volume III is 19 hours 52 minutes.
