On Spec: the Canadian Magazine of the Fantastic, is published quarterly. The 112-page, perfect bound, digest-sized issue contains fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. Single copies are $6.95. Annual subscriptions are $24 for individuals, $35 for institutions, from: PO Box 4727, Edmonton, Alberta T6E 5G6 Canada; www.onspec.ca. The Summer 2007 issue (volume 19, number 2; whole number 69) has fiction by: Leslie Brown, Julia Campbell-Such, Catherine MacLeod, Will McIntosh, Joanne Merriam, James Moran, Cat Sparks, and Michael Vance. Star*Line, the Journal of the Science Fiction Poetry Association, is published six times a year. The 24-page issue contains poems, reviews, organizational announcements, and other items of interest to poets.
