Eric T. Reynolds reading for Ruins: Metropolis

Eric T. Reynolds is reading submissions for a new anthology based on the image at right and to be titled Ruins: Metropolis. It will be the third volume in Hadley Rille Books‘s “Ruins” series.
Stories must be based on that art, using the “woman in the image as the protagonist. The story must deal with ruins, particularly those in which this person is standing. Science Fiction, Fantasy, Mystery, Romance, Mainstream are fine as long as they fit within this simple guideline.” He’s looking for stories 2,000-6,000 words long (though he will consider 1,000-7,000), and will pay $25-$30 per story (plus royalties, if any). Deadline is 31 October 2007. For more details, including submission address, see this page.
