Actress Marcia Mae Jones died of pneumonia on 2 September 2007. Born 1 August 1924 in Los Angeles, California, she started acting as a child (her first appearance was in 1926’s Mannequin), and appeared in two films with Shirley Temple (Heidi in 1937, and The Little Princess in 1939).
Her genre appearances include the movie The Spectre of Edgar Allan Poe (1973) and guest appearances on Shazam! (1974) and Mister Ed (1965).
Jones was married twice: to Robert Chic, a sporting goods company sales representative, with whom she had two sons, Bob and Tim; and to TV writer Bill Davenport. She is survived by her sons, her brother Marvin, and two grandchildren.
Rest in peace, dear lady. And, forgive my errors.
You are missed.
