The 59th annual Emmy Awards (for excellence in television) were awarded in two cermonies. The Creative Arts Emmys were handed out Saturday 8 September 2007; the Primetime Emmy Awards came on Sunday 16 September. Both ceremonies took place in The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.
