TheHugoAwards.org: a new informational web site

TheHugoAwards.org is a new site dedicated to, well, the Hugo Awards. The people’s choice awards of science fiction, awarded every year at the World Science Fiction Convention, have apparently grown so large as to need their own web site. TheHugoAwards.org seems to have launched ten days ago, but they’re just now getting around to sending out publicity. At the moment, the site is somewhat sparse, but it’s intended mostly as an informational archive. There are descriptions of the awards, the categories, and the rules behind them, as well as archival lists of past winners and nominees and galleries of the ever-changing trophies (well, the trophy remains the same, but the base is new every year). And TheHugoAwards.org (along with many, many other sites, including SFScope) will have a list of the new winners of this year’s Hugos soon after they’re announced.
