Adam and Amazetta “Zetta” Golaski (who are, respectively, the Horror Fiction Editor and a proofreader of New Genre), welcomed their newest collaboration, Elizabeth Golaski, on the morning of 7 July 2007. She was born at 8:44AM and weighed 5 pounds, 9 ounces.
The birth was news at Readercon, because the Golaskis had been manning New Genre‘s table in the dealers’ room when she went into labor. Lois Ava-Matthew, who was running the dealers’ room, was seen filling in at the table (it was she who first got the news and posted a sign on their table).
