Actress Laura Devon died of heart failure 19 July 2007. Born Mary Laura Briley in Chicago, Illinois, on 23 May 1937, she had a short career in the 1960s.
Her first role was in a 1962 episode of The New Breed; her last, 1967’s Gunn. In between, she made several genre appearances, including the films Chamber of Horrors (1966) and Goodbye Charlie (1964), and episodes of The Invaders (1967) and The Twilight Zone (1963).
Her death was announced by her son, screenwriter Kevin Jarre.
