Karen A. Romanko, editor of the forthcoming Sporty Spec, reports that the anthology is about half full. She’s still open to submissions, and says she’s trying “to pair poems and stories on the same or similar sports/games. If you’re planning to submit something or are looking for inspiration, I could specifically use poems about basketball or hunting. In the story department, football and sailboarding/surfing are possibilities. Any speculative genre is fine, but I’m running a little light in the supernatural horror department.”
