Ian Randal Strock on Jim Freund’s Hour of the Wolf on a Different Day

[Editor’s note: I tried writing this article as a proper, third-person news story, but it doesn’t work. In this case, I’m both the reporter and the news.]
SFScope editor Ian Randal Strock—I—will be appearing on Jim Freund’s Hour of the Wolf, but the show itself won’t be appearing at its regular time. The 30 June show is being pre-empted for a special, but Freund is sitting in as temporary host for Cat Radio Café on Monday 25 June from 2 to 3PM.
Originally, the show had been planned as a “Blue Moon Special,” since the 30th is a blue moon (according to one definition). Instead, we’ll be covering the event on Monday. Freund asked me to be on this program because of my connection with the Artemis Project and the Moon Society (I’m a founder of both). He plans to play some appropriate music, and we’ll be talking about blue moons, the Artemis Project (a commercial venture to establish a lunar colony), and I may even be reading a few of my stories.
Hour of the Wolf and Cat Radio Café air in New York City on WBAI 99.5 FM. They also stream on the station’s web site, wbai.org. For more information on Freund’s regular show, see this page.
