Subterranean’s Upcoming Schedule

Subterranean Press, publishers of limited edition collectible editions, has just signed deals for several new books, including:
*The Other Teddy Roosevelts and Hazards: a Lucifer Jones Adventure by Mike Resnick
* an as-yet-untitled, 200,000-word collection by David Weber
* The Golden Apples of the Sun by Ray Bradbury
* an untitled volume of Lovecraft-inspired stories by Peter Cannon
* Red Seas Under Red Skies by Scott Lynch—his nautical sequel to The Lies of Locke Lamora
In addition to those new deals, they note that several previously announced books are currently at the printer, and will soon be available. These include:
I Sing the Body Electric by Ray Bradbury, which will be available this summer as either a 392-page, limited, 250-copy, signed, numbered, slipcased edition for $150, or as a lettered 26-copy, traycased edition with an extra 40-page section for $750.
Up from the Bottomless Pit by Philip Jose Farmer, which will be available this Autumn as a limited, 250-copy, signed, numbered, slipcased edition for $125, or as a lettered, 26-copy leatherbound edition for $300.
D.A. by Connie Willis, which will be published in June as either a limited, 400-copy, signed, leatherbound edition for $40, or a trade hardcover edition for $20
A Coven of Vampires by Brian Lumley, which will be published in June as a 1000-copy signed, hardcover edition with a bonus chapbook for $35.
To the Dark Star by Robert Silverberg, which is volume 2 of his collected stories. It will be available in a limited, 125-copy, signed, hardcover edition for $65, or a trade hardcover edition for $35. The table of contents will include: “Introduction,” “To See the Invisible Man,” “The Pain Peddlers,” “Neighbor,” “The Sixth Palace,” “Flies,” “Halfway House,” “To the Dark Star,” “Hawksbill Station,” “Passengers,” “Bride 91,” “Going Down Smooth,” “Fangs of the TREES,” “Ishmael in Love,” “Ringing the Changes,” “Sundance,” “How It Was When the Past Went Away,” “A Happy Day in 2381,” “(Now + n, Now – n ),” “After the Myths Went Home,” “The Pleasure of Their Company,” and “We Know Who We Are.”
Finally, Subterranean announces that Promises to Keep by Charles de Lint will replace the previously announced The Newford Collection on their schedule. Customers who pre-ordered the latter title will instead receive the former when it is published. This book will also be available the lettered ($250), limited (175 copies, $125) and trade ($35) editions.
