Naruto moving to Brazil and Mexico

VIZ Media just signed deals to distribute Shonen Jump: Naruto manga in Brazil and Mexico.
Grupo Editorial VID S.A. de C.V. will release it in Mexico in April, and Panini Brazil Ltda. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Italy’s Panini Group) will publish in Brazil in May.
Naruto is one of VIZ Media’s most successful manga properties in terms of sales. The series, by creator Masashi Kishimoto, depicts the adventures of a young boy who trains to become a ninja, and has sold more than 70 million copies in Japan since 1999. In North America, Naruto is not only a best-selling manga series, but also a popular anime series on Cartoon Network, and now the anime is available on DVD.
