The Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art is sponsoring the MoCCA Art Festival 2007 on Saturday and Sunday, 23 and 24 June, at the Puck Building (293 Lafayette at Houston) in New York City. The Festival will be open from 11AM to 6PM each day. Admission is $8 each day, or $10 for a weekend pass.
They’ll have “four full ballrooms of cartoonists and publishers.” (A list of currently scheduled publishers and artists is available at MoCCA’s web site. They’ll also have panels and other programming events (not yet scheduled).
To tie in with the Festival, Top Shelf Comix will have their 10th anniversary party on Saturday evening at GSTAAD (43 West 26 Street, New York, New York 10010; www.gstaadnyc.com). “Food and drinks and conversation will be there for all who attend from 6 to 9PM, but the club and bar will stay open all night until we close the place down.”
