Milbre Burch will give a solo spoken word concert at the Provincetown Playhouse at New York University on Sunday 15 April at 3PM. The one-hour performance is entitled “Transformations: Tales from Fantasy and Faery.”
Describing the show, NYU says “A Beauty becomes a Beast; a serpent king feels compelled to swallow his brides; Jack-the-giant-killer befriends a coven of shape-shifting cats; a woman gives birth to a daughter and raises a son. These are among the cast of characters conjured by award-winning storyteller and writer Milbre Burch in tales from fantasy and faery.”
