“Daniel Fox,” the pseudonym of an award-winning British novelist, sold world rights to a fantasy trilogy to Fleetwood Robbins at Del Rey. The deal was brokered by Caitlin Blasdell of Liza Dawson Associates (New York) as a subagent for John Jarrold Literary Agency in the UK.
The trilogy—to be called Moshui: the Books of Stone and Water—is about a deposed boy-emperor who flees with his court and generals to a remote island that turns out to be the secret source of magic for the empire. The first book, Dragon in Chains is scheduled to be published in early 2009.
I have just finished Jade Man’s Skin this minute. I was very happy to find the sequl to Dragon in Chains. What a wonderful adult fantasy, especially for a seventy year old read-a-holic!!!! The languge was superb, the story fascinating and the characters magnificant. I want to adopt Chung. Please, please hurry with the next book, I don’t want to pass this earthly realm without finding out the end of the story. Where else can I find ”
Daniel Fox”?
