The Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art is hosting “Stan Lee: A Retrospective” from 23 February to 3 July 2007. The exhibition includes examples of Lee’s early work in comics, addresses Lee’s crucial part in the famed “Marvel Revolution” (including the “Marvel Method” of writing and his role as co-creator of characters such as The Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, and The Hulk), and covers the work Lee is still doing today.
The Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art is located at 594 Broadway, Suite 401, New York, New York 10012. It is open Friday through Monday from 12N to 5PM, and by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. Admission to the museum is $5 (children under 12 free). The Museum’s web site is at www.moccany.org.
