Norman Spinrad’s Riding the Torch to be published electronically

Norman Spinrad sold electronic book rights to Riding the Torch to Futures-Past. Riding the Torch, a novella, was published in 1975, and was on the final ballot for the Hugo Award.
Futures-Past is the science fiction, fantasy, and horror imprint of Page Turner Editions.
In a related deal, REB AudioBooks (Page Turner’s audio imprint) will be publishing “Ship of Stone,” a filk song by Don Simpson, which is based on the Spinrad novella.
Riding the Torch is “set against the background of an exodus from Earth following its destruction in a nuclear war and the search for a world that will support human life.” The story in this novella “takes place hundreds of years into the voyage, when it at last begins to look as if no such world exists.”
