Weird fiction publisher Arkham House announces the death of April R. Derleth on 21 March 2011. Born 9 August 1954, she was the President and CEO of Arkham House, and the daughter the publishing house’s founder, August Derleth (1909-71). She became president of the house in 2002.
Arkham House announces that “All sales and unfilled orders are temporarily being suspended and we thank you for your understanding during this difficult time the Derleth family is experiencing.”
