Nebula Awards preliminary ballot released

The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA) has announced the preliminary Nebula Award ballot. This is the list of books and stories receiving at least 10 recommendations from active members during the past year. Because of the rolling eligibility concept, works may have been published any time in the last two years, so long as they reached the 10-recommendation threshhold within 12 months of being published. The members of SFWA now vote for their top five choices in each category, and those (along with a potential sixth choice by the juries) will comprise the final ballot, from which members will vote starting in March or April.
