Once again, it’s off to a convention. This weekend, it’s Boskone in Boston, Massachusetts.
And yes, it’s kind of early for the weekend, but I’m running out of town ahead of the coming storm (wow! it turned into winter here).
Once again, I’ll be spending most of my time in the dealers’ room, running the Fantastic Books table, but I’ll also be on programming:
Saturday, 10-10:50am in the Lewis room: “Building a Better Anthology” with James Patrick Kelly, Patrick Nielsen Hayden, and Leigh Perry.
Saturday, 2-2:50pm in the Harbor III room: “Food in Fiction” with Elizabeth Bear, Steven Popkes, and Jill Shultz.
Sunday, 10-10:50am in the Habor I room: “Humor in SF” with Bruce Coville, Janice Gelb, Darlene Marshall, and Jennifer Pelland.
Sunday, 1-1:50pm in the Lewis room: “Amazon’s Impact on Publishing” with Joshua Bilmes, Shahid Mahmud, and Beth Meacham.
Special excitement this weekend will be Fantastic Books’ double book launch: we’ll be launching Tom Purdom’s first collection, Lovers & Fighters, Starships & Dragons, and Lou Antonelli’s latest collection, The Clock Struck None. Be sure to stop by the dealer table for details on when and where to join us for the launch party!
Hope to see some of you there.
