Athena’s Daughters really stretching for goals

You might have heard (over and over) that I am involved with a kickstarter for Silence in the Library Press’s upcoming anthology, Athena’s Daughters, to which I am a contributor.

Well…we are two days away from the close of the kickstarter. it has been a resounding success with supporters scoring all kinds of stretch-goal rewards and donation rewards. We have earned high enough that there will be a companion volume produced called Apollo’s Daughters and everyone who has donated at even just the $5 level will receive as a thank you six ebooks, 13 bonus stories, audio books, an download of an audio cd and bunches of other stuff in addition to the anthology itself.

We still have some goals we would really like to make, though, so if you have a little to spare–and want to score lots of Loot!–would you consider supporting the cause? We are aiming for a hardcover edition of Apollo’s Daughters and on the top of our wish list a volume 2 of Athena’s Daughters. We are so close.

Okay…I’ll stop channeling Jerry Lewis…and every other fundraiser host you might know.

At press time, the project has raised $33,381 of its initial goal of $8,500 from 1,448 backers, with 56 hours left to go.
