Waylines Magazine Issue 5 Released

Waylines Magazine released the Web Edition of its fifth issue. The latest issue features two new short stories, three new short films, six interviews and an editorial.

The two short stories featured are –

1) Samantha Kymmell-Harvey takes us into the heart of music, monsters and love in “Cadence,” a story that asks us just who the monsters really are.

2) David Halpert’s “The Elevator Man” examines the nature of sentience and the blindness of humanity to it’s own past.

The three featured films are –

1) Christopher Frey has created a hypnotic (and unique) end of the world scenario, “Explosions.”

2) “Contre Temps,” is the lovely animated adventure by Team Contre Temps of an underwater world and the race against time by two of its inhabitants.

3) Trevin Matcek has brought a human touch to a modern take of life everlasting in “Life Begins at Rewirement.”

The issue also features interviews with directors Trevin Matcek and the Contre Temps Team as well as with writers Samantha Kymmell-Harvey and David Halpert. Featured interviews are with David Steffen and Ken Liu.
The Digital Download edition for digital readers will be released on the last day of September. Featuring all the Web Edition content, the Digital Download will also include exclusive content, including, Screen Gems and extended interviews.
