Blast into the distant future with the Science Fiction TV Dinner series and BBC’s classic science fiction comedy, Red Dwarf! Join us for a conversation about space exploration, holograms, cat people and whether great science fiction can also be funny.

The conversation will be moderated by Ed Finn, director of the Center for Science and the Imagination, and will feature Steven Desch, an astrophysicist and associate professor at ASU’s School of Earth and Space Exploration, and Don and Alleen Nilsen, ASU emeritus professors in English and the co-founders of the International Society for Humor Studies.This event is brought to you as part of ASU’s Project Humanities “Humor… Seriously!” Fall Kickoff week.
