Editor John Joseph Adams announces that Nightmare Magazine will be temporarily closing to submissions: “Due to the high volume of excellent material already in inventory, Nightmare will temporarily close to unsolicited submissions starting February 19, 2013. If you’ve previously been solicited to submit and/or have been previously published by editor John Joseph Adams, feel free to query if you would like to submit during our closure period.

“We will reopen to unsolicited submissions on May 15, 2013.”
