2013 BAFTA Film Award Winners

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) announced the winners of its 2013 Orange British Academy Film Awards. BAFTA’s mission is to “support, develop, and promote the art forms of the moving image, by identifying and rewarding excellence, inspiring practitioners and benefiting the public.”

This year’s winners of genre interest include:

Argo, which won for Best Director (Ben Affleck) and for Editing.

Brave, which was named best Animated Film.

Life of Pi, which won the awards for Cinematography and Special Visual Effects.

Skyfall, which was named Outstanding British Film and won the award for Original Music.
