…and, we’re back.
Sorry about that outage. Apparently, our server got hacked, but thanks to Glenn, it was cleaned up in short order (then there was the delay as the now-clean site had to repropogate across the web).
This weekend, SFScope is on the road, to the first convention of the year: Arisia, in Boston.
In addition to standing behind the Fantastic Books table in the dealers’ room all weekend, I’ll be on programming (see below). And Saturday night, Fantastic Books is hosting a launch party for Daniel M. Kimmel’s new novel, Shh! It’s a Secret: a novel about Aliens, Hollywood, and the Bartender’s Guide. Look for signs at the convention for the room number, or just come by the table.
My programming appearances will be:
Friday at 7PM in Alcott (3W): “The Man Who Sold the Moon” with Howard G. Beatman, Terry Franklin, Toni Lay, and Steve E. Popkes.
Sunday at 10AM in Alcott (3W): “Forward the Corporation” with Forest Handford and Buzz Harris.
Sunday at 7PM in Bullfinch (3W): “Are Rules Meant to be Broken?” with Genevieve Iseult Eldredge, Vylar Kaftan, Joy Marchand, and Suzanne Palmer.
Monday at 11:30AM in Otis (2): “The Perils of Near-Future Science Fiction” with Mark L. Amidon, Christopher K. Davis, and Dennis McCunney.
Hope to see some of you there!
